Jose Paul Sacaridiz studied art and painting at Pratt Institute, under Gabriel Laderman and Martha-Mayer Earlbacher. Awarded a one-year grant to the National Academt of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy, he painted extensively at Gil Uffizi working from the drawings of the oldmasters. He received his BA with a concentration in Fine Arts from the State University of New York. Hr has repeatedly attended the Haystack Mountain School in Deer Isle Maine as a resident artist. In 2004, Mr. Sacaridiz was invited by Bennington College to participate in a Masters program that encouraged creative teaching and foriegn travel. He subsequently taught extensively througthout Peru, S.A. Upon his return, he accepted a position as lead instructor at The Vermont Arts Exchange in North Bennington, VT. His teaching has focused on alternative needs and venues working extensively with the physically and emotionally challenged populations.
